Glass House #1118 Under Contract!

I’m pleased to announce that Glass House #1118 is under contract scheduled to close at the end of the month!

New Auraria Light Rail Station

The new light rail station on the Auraria Campus will open Monday morning.  The station will be located near Fifth and Walnut Streets just Northwest of the old station.  It was moved in order to adjoin with new West Corridor light-rail line opening in about 18 months.  There will be a free coffee and doughnuts between 7am and 10am commemorating the event.

Glass House Open House Saturday 10/15!

Please join me at Glass House tomorrow, Saturday October 15th for an Open House.  From 1-3pm  we will hold open several Glass House residences.  There will be studios, one bedrooms and two bedrooms available to preview.  The tour begins in the Glass House lobby at 1700 Bassett Street.  This is a great opportunity to tour the building if you have never seen it or catch up on current inventory.  I hope to see you there.

DaVita Update

This week the DaVita building construction hit a milestone, the first glass.  This is always an exciting point because the skin of the building starts taking shape.  Additionally, the “missing corner” has begun construction as well.  This is where the tracks for the old light rail use to curve around the Millennium Bridge.  Now that the light rail goes under the bridge and the old tracks have been removed, the corner is now coming out of the ground.

Denver Marathon

Tomorrow, October 9th, will be the second annual Sports Authority Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver Marathon and ½ Marathon.  About 15,000 runners are expected to participate in the event.  This is a great marathon with the beautiful Denver fall scenery, four city parks, and many Denver landmarks along the route.  There will also be 26 bands along the way to keep the runners going, one for every mile.  The music will vary from rock to reggae and Jazz to Pop.  Smash Mouth will be greeting the runners at the finish line with an incredible concert.  The group has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and is best known for their songs “Walking on the Sun,”  “All Star” and their remake of the Monkees song “I’m a Believer.”  This should be a great event.  For more information, click here.

Race for the Cure Sunday, October 2nd

The Denver Race for the Cure will be this Sunday and over 50,000 people are expected to participate. A sea of pink will walk and run along Denver’s streets raising millions of dollars to assist in the fight against breast cancer. To register or donate please visit the Susan G. Koman’s website at www.komendenver.org. You can even register on Sunday, the day of the event.  The race will start and end in the Pepsi Center Parking lot.  This event is a great way to enjoy a beautiful fall day in Colorado while supporting a charity with friends.
