Across the Denver metro area inventory is at incredibly low numbers. In an article from the Denver Post, the number of homes for sale are down 41.6% since Jauary of 2011. The market has picked up over the past few quarters but a lack of inventory threatens to stall progress. It’s starting to trend like a seller’s market with the limited number of homes available. There are currently 10,443 listings an the market, real estate analyst Dave Bauer, says he would be concerned if those numbers drop below 9,500. Hopefully, as the weather warms up the inventory will start to come back and the market will continue to gain strength.
