A new piece of art has been chosen for the Riverfront Park Plaza. It will be placed beneath the Millennium Bridge and look like a field of giant red reeds or grasses. The Australian artist, Konstantin Kondimopoulos, designed it specifically for this location to mimic the rhythms of nature. It’s made of composite plastic and the reeds will gently sway and brush against each other with the breeze of the city. It should be arriving within the next couple of months. Click through to the Riverfront Park blog to see more images and read what the artist had to say about it.
