The new Light Rail Station is starting to look like an actual station! The canopy supports are now in place and the handicapped ramps have been poured. It will be next summer before the new station is ready for use. Construction is moving along quickly with approximately 75% of the bus box walls now in place. Before the light rail can be moved a “lid” will need to be put on the bus box in order for the 16th Street Free Mall Shuttle to pick up and drop off passengers at the new location.
